Nintendoย has revealed a slew of new games at the most recent Indie World Showcase. Different from your usualย Nintendo Direct, the Indie World Showcase shows off some of the more niche indie franchises that don’t usually get a spotlight. Between new ports to the Nintendo Switch, wonderful-looking exclusives, and longstanding projects, Nintendo has a great Indie lineup coming this Holiday season. That said, here are some of the best games presented at the November Nintendo Indie World Showcase.

Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution

The Shantae series is making a triumphant return with an amazing-looking GameBoy-style game. Based on an unreleased Shantae sequel, the platformer looks like a very fun platformer with some unique mechanics. Additionally, the revival will include a 4-player battle mode for everyone to enjoy with friends. Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution should be released sometime in 2024.

Core Keeper

The Indie classic gameย Core Keeperย is a sandbox survival game that has been making waves since its Early Access launch in 2022. The November Nintendo Indie World Showcase has shown that it will be coming to the Switch when the game fully releases. Though this isn’t going to be a Switch exclusive,ย Core Keeperย feels like a solid entry to the library.

On Your Tail

On Your Tail looks like an interesting take on an investigative simulation game. In the town of Borgo Marina, players can enjoy a holiday by playing minigames and interacting with the population. At the same time, players will also need to investigate a mysterious figure who has appeared in the peaceful town. On Your Tail will come to the Switch sometime in 2024.
