These two are incredibly insecure and they tend to take that out on each other in the weirdest ways. What should also be brought up is how co-dependent these two are. Before they lived together, they FaceTimed for 24 hours a day. They even used the bathroom together while on FaceTime – something most normal, well-adjusted humans would find very weird and uncomfortable.
So perhaps if he is being controlled, it is something he wants or perpetuates. These two also got married on the down low when no one was looking. For those reasons and more, many people find their relationship problematic. But let’s look a tad bit deeper into this issue for a moment. It all started for him once he arrived in the Philippines. Gone was the sweet Mary he had gotten to know online, seemingly replaced by a much more controlling version of the woman he fell for. What people need to know is that Brandan comes from tragedy. His mother lost custody of him for drug abuse. Then he lived with his dad, who was allegedly physically abusive. So, to come from trauma and now return to it has made some issues surface for him, understandably. She seemingly has to know all he is doing and doesn’t allow him to interact with other females anymore.
