90 Day Fiancé‘s Nicole’s burkini pic has gone viral. As many of you know, Nicole is dating Mahmoud who is Muslim. This means culturally, they have some differences. Moreover, Mahmoud is always trying to get her to fully embrace that. Something she is somewhat uncomfortable with, due to how women are treated. But he pushes and pushes and she is very sweet and chill, so over time, she just kind of does it.
She recently wore a burkini at a pool with her husband in Egypt, and the shot of her wearing it went viral. The biggest takeaway from it is just how sad she looks in it, though. We used it for a lead-in pic, and it just feels so wrong. She literally looks like her dog just got run over.

In the clip, Nicole admits she didn’t know what exactly “dressing modestly” meant until she had to wear the swimsuit. It was a “very profound moment” for Nicole because the “reality of it” became very clear, very fast to her. Not long after Nicole married Mahmoud, she went to the Red Sea for a vacation, where she saw tourists wearing a “normal” swimsuit and felt jealous. Nicole feels anxious about wearing the swimsuit, but she does it for Mahmoud. The 90 Day Fiancé star, however, refuses to wear the hijab and refrains from covering her hair. Mahmoud wishes for her to be covered from head to toe.”
Nicole is a woman caught betwixt two cultures. And she is doing her best to try to rep both of them to the best of her ability. While she hasn’t agreed with all the aspects of how Muslims treat women, she is doing her best to respect both sides. That just shows you everything you need to know about her character. Though she doesn’t agree with all of it, she doesn’t shun it because it is a huge part of her husband’s life. But we do have a question to pose. Is he working as hard to embrace hers?
