Welcome back to another piece in our Game Pass series, where we cover the newest games coming to Xbox Game Pass. Our last article in this series included A Plague Tale: Innocence, GRIS, and more that were on the way. The majority of those have since released, with the last title ScourgeBringer coming tomorrow (February 6th). Onto this month’s news, though, you can expect to see Final Fantasy XV, Wolfenstein: Youngblood, Death Squared, and Death’s Gambit. All four are solid titles and are definitely ones you should give a try.

Game Pass

Final Fantasy XV will be coming to Game Pass on both PC and Console starting tomorrow. The game is an action RPG developed and published by Square Enix and is the fifteenth entry in the main series. Play as Prince Noctis, originally on his way to wed his fiancee Luna on a road trip with friends. All goes awry, as news that the land has been taken over and his fiancee and others have been slain. The prince must gather his strength, work with his allies, and go on a perilous journey if he is to stop this invading force. With some great combat and gameplay along with stunning visuals, this is a title made for action RPG fans.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood will also be coming to both PC and Console for Game Pass this month. The game is a first-person shooter, taking place 19 years after the events of Wolfenstein II. BJ Blazkowicz has gone missing, and it’s up to both of his daughters to find him and bring him home. It’s recommended that you team up with a friend for this one, but the game is enjoyable solo. The game may only have a 69 score on Metacritic, but Game Pass owners will want to give this game a go anyway. There is nothing to lose, and it could be a title that you enjoy.

Following that is Death Squared, which is the exclusive console entry on this list. Death Squared is a puzzle game developed by indie developer SMG Studio. You and up to three other people (or solo) must guide little robot cubes to their end goals. It won’t be that easy, though, as the path is littered with traps that will be difficult to avoid. You must use your teamwork and communication skills if you’re to have a chance of making it to the end. The game received an 80 score on Metacritic, citing some challenging puzzles and great moments for you and your friends.

Finally, there’s Death’s Gambit, which is this entry’s PC exclusive. The title is a 2D action platformer with RPG elements thrown in. As Death’s right hand, you must purge the souls of the living and challenge those who refuse to die. What rewards will await you? What challenges must you face? These questions will be answered along with many more in a platformer like no other. This game may be lesser known than the other three on this list, but it’s one that platforming fans will want to give a go.

Game Pass

These titles should all serve to give you games to play for this month. That’s not all though, as Game Pass subscribers have access to a few additional things in the coming weeks. For one, you’ll have access to the Bleeding Edge beta from February 14th to 16th. If you want to know more about that game, you can find that here. You’ll also get access to two DLCs, those being Dead Cells’ Bad Seed DLC and Metro Exodus’ Sam’s Story DLC.

A lot to look forward to this month if you’re a subscriber like myself. What games are you going to play on this list? Will you play the beta or any of the DLCs? Let us know in the comments below, and stick around here at The Nerd Stash.
