Electronic Arts and Google have partnered up to bring some of EA’s finest and most popular titles to the streaming console.

The partnership will introduce specifically five EA titles to the Google Stadia. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Madden NFL, and EA Sports FIFA will be coming to the console by the end of this year. Specifically, Madden and FIFA will join the Stadia library this winter. Jedi: Fallen Order will be available to play sometime later this year.

The other two titles coming to Stadia have yet to be revealed but will come sometime in 2021.

Both companies seem excited about the partnership, as one might expect. “We’re thrilled to see some of Electronic Arts’ biggest hits come to the Stadia,” GM and VP at Google, Phil Harrison, said. “I can’t wait to play EA SPORTS FIFA, Madden NFL, and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on my favorite screens instantly with the simple click of a button.”

“Cloud is opening up exciting new possibilities for play,” Andrew Wilson, CEO of Electronic Arts, said. “In partnering with Google Stadia, we have an opportunity to deliver some creative and innovative game experiences on an exciting new platform.”

This partnership could be Google’s chance to turn the Stadia around. After all, the console has been criticized for having a very limited library. These critiques have hurt the performance of the console. Google has started a studio to develop games for the Stadia, but nothing is known about their work yet.

Electronic Arts is an absolutely huge video game company. EA has published titles like Apex Legends and series such as Dragon Age. However, the company has received heavy criticism for the presence of microtransactions in nearly all of its titles. Hopefully, the partnership between the EA and Google will not bring about a similar controversy.

What do you think of the partnership? Do you own a Stadia, and, if so, do you like it? Let us know in the comments below!

I've been playing everything I could get my hands on since I was a kid playing my Nintendo GameCube. When I'm not playing the latest titles or replaying Dark Souls for the umpteenth time, I am usually trying to write my novel or write and edit for clients as a freelancer.
