I’ll admit it, I am absolutely addicted to Amazon. ย It has become a running joke at my house that a package will be at my door every day. ย From protein supplements, to computer glare-reducing glasses, to new underwear, I have turned to Amazon for almost everything in my daily life. ย Before I know it, I will probably be buying my milk and bananas on Amazon. ย I fought against spending 100 dollars to get a year’s subscription to Amazon Prime almost every day before caving in. ย And now that I have that guarantee of two-day delivery, my useless spending has reached an all-time high.
So, it comes as no surprise that I have been anticipating Amazon Prime Day more than Christmas. ย Lightning deals all day that will show up at my door in two days? ย Sign me up! ย As soon as I woke up, I began the day long process of watching the deals. ย Almost every half hour, Amazon unveiled new deals. ย Sadly, the disappointment across my face could be seen a mile away. ย Amazon did not have anything GOOD to sell.
And I was not the only one who felt this way. ย Thousands of users took to Facebook and Twitter to voice their displeasure about the sale. ย In fact, #PrimeDayFail has been the most popular hash tag as of today. ย Gizmondo did us the favor of gathering some great user quotes. ย Here are a few:

Needless to say, after all of the stuff I have bought on Amazon over the years, July 15th was a major letdown! ย Hopefully Amazon will have decent stuff for the next go-round.
