With no surprise, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla soared through sales to become the top Assassin’s Creed game sold in the first week. Not only that but the best PC launch ever for a Ubisoft game. This is a good year for Ubisoft as more games are planned for release as well. One game will be the anticipated Immortals Fenyx Rising coming in early December. Ubisoft has a plan ahead of them, but this is everything you need to know on the exciting release week of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Week One Release

Assassin's Creed

Ubisoft announced that the game had one of the highest sales as well as ratings for the season. After an early player response, the game soared over the number of units sold in the first week. This feedback, as well as sales, also came from the new cutting-edge technology of the PS5 and the Xbox Series X. The game truly optimized the graphics and gameplay to fit the new consoles.

Julien Laferrière, producer of Valhalla stated,

We are truly delighted by the enthusiastic response from players and want to thank the fans for their incredible support. Delivering this game amid a global pandemic was a true tour de force by our teams and it’s fantastic to see players enjoying the game so much, launch is only the beginning and we have robust content plans for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla that will keep players immersed in their epic Viking saga for a long time to come.”
