Redout: Space Assault acts as a prequel to the original game of the same title. Also developed by 34BigThings, the title adds background that players may have been missing. While its predecessor was a racing game, this game is a space-themed shooter. It has all the elements of the original with the freedom of space exploration.

Vehicles can be customized to the appropriate mission. And there are plenty of space battlefields to cross.

Redout: Space Assault

The game is one that fits into a niche, not many developers get into. It features a single-player story, which some gamers will likely gravitate to. Here are some features to look forward to from Redout: Space Assault:

Career Mode –ย a mode dedicated to learning the ropes. Gain the necessary skills to make it in the Redout universe.

Thriving Worlds – Fascinating locations to explore and wage battles in.

Deep Gameplay –ย While you will wield powerful weapons, you’ll still need quick thinking and adaptability.

Bigger, Badder Weapons – In addition to a combination of reflexes, you’ll have guns at your disposal. From Plasma Cannons to Rail Guns, you’ll have a variety of weapons to add to your ship.

Customize Your Ride –ย Eventually, you’ll be able to take on Destroyers single-handed. Change out cards to improve your ship and fit your specific style of play.

Music for Your Ears –ย As the battles intensify, so will the music you hear.

Redout: Space Assault is a tribute to racing classics like Wipeout and F-Zero. Experience all the heart-pounding action and incredible graphics the franchise is known for.

Thanks to its dynamic soundtrack and 5.1 support, it won “Best Music” at the 2020 Excellence Awards.

Redout: Space Assaultย will launch on January 22, 2021. You can find it on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
