Fear The Presence in Song of Horror

After some delay, the well-known survival horror game from Protocol Games is ready to creep onto the console scene. For those who can recall, Song of Horror is a dynamic and fixed-camera panic adventure originally released for PC on Halloween of 2019. Now, the developers are releasing videos and shots to get the console launch news out there for intrigued horror fans.

In short, the narrative for Song of Horror commences when a famous writer and his family go missing. It’s not until another acquainted disappearance occurs and the story gets set in motion. With 13 different playable protagonists, the great mystery behind this unknown dread leads to the suspicion of a dark entity known as The Presence. Haunting your every move and character’s path, who knows who will survive to tell the tale.

A console was released today to announce the game’s impending arrival to Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It lays out many of the expected mechanics to come, along with a sinister voice-over to encapsulate the title’s ominous atmosphere.

Song of Horror is an experience through a fixed-camera perspective, much like the classic Resident Evil titles. While the game doesn’t utilize combat to fend off evil, it’s the survival and investigative skills that will take you far. But that all depends on how brave you’re willing to proceed. The abundance of dissimilar circumstances caused by The Presence is enough to keep you on edge because of its AI. It’s ever-changing, and it can study your moves – best play smart with darkness if you want the truth.

Song of Horror‘s development comes from Protocol Games, with its publication being handled by Raiser Games. It will be launching onto Xbox and PlayStation next month on May 28.
