Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain‘s game breaking Quiet bug has finally been fixed by Konami, at least for the PS4 and PC anyway.

“The bug is triggered only under certain circumstances in Episode 29 or Episode 42 when Quiet is used as your buddy,” the publisher explained previously. “However, you may still safely use Quiet in these missions if you use the Butterfly Emblem throughout the mission or avoid raising your Bond Level with Quiet to MAX during the course of the mission.”

Players on the other versions of the game might still want to be cautious of using Quiet until their versions are updated.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is the eleventh installment in the Metal Gear franchise. This entry also marks the last game developed by legendary developer Hideo Kojima.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
