There are very few games quite like The Stanley Parable.The game is a partย exploration of story, games, and choice, and part try not to have a mental breakdownย as you try to figure out if you can even beat the game at all. Considering it is one of the unique games out there, garnering a legion of fans, it isn’t surprising that Stanley Parable designer William Pugh has launched a new studio called Crows Crows Crows.ย He’s also teasing an unnamed mystery game, described as โa weird puzzle,โ game that’s “due to quite imminently”.
In true Stanley Parable-style, he is slowly revealing it via a web-based ARG. Alongside the puzzle, three mysterious screenshots from the game have also been revealed, which you can check out below.
In the A.807 file on the website,ย youโll find a collection of documents for what we may presume is an investigative report. Thereโs talk of stolen items, ย a timeline of events, some clues, and letters between characters called Inspector Lavigne and Deputy Angelo. Judging from the information, it maybe safe to assume that the game is taking a different direction The Stanley Parable.ย Or I could be totally wrong and the developers are only trying to make us think that it’s different.
If you stay on the page forย ย youโll be transferred to a page titled Mayflower Networking System. Apparentlyย thereโs an entire subreddit dedicated to decrypting this teaser for clues.ย Unfortunately,ย that’s all the info we have so far on the new game.
