William Pugh, the designer of the very popular interactive fiction game The Stanley Parable has just released a new game through company Crows Crows Crows.ย  It is called Dr. Langeskov, The Tiger, and The Terribly Cursed Emerald: A Whirlwind Heist and it is not only as strange as its title suggests but according to its teaser trailer is complimentary. What does that mean you may ask?ย  It means that Dr. Langeskov is being given away for free via Steam for both PC and Mac currently.

An odd little game, clocking in at around 15 minutes total in Pughโ€™s estimates, one does not even have to start the game to get a dose of its meta-humor and absurdist charm.ย  To quote Dr. Langeskovโ€™s Steam Description: โ€œ(Dr. Langeskov is) A 15-minute heist game by Crows Crows Crows & Directed by William Pugh (The Stanley Parable). Slip into the soft-soled shoes of the mastermind responsible for the greatest heist- oh god I canโ€™t do this anymore, I’m joining the strike. good luck writing the steam description.โ€

For such a tiny game, there is a surprise guest that fans of hit comedy show Rick and Morty might recognize: Justin Roiland who is the voice of both Rick and Morty.

โ€ฆ.I โ€ฆ.I too am joining the strike. play the game. leave a comment about it below.
