Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom has been announced for the PlayStation 4.

Officially revealed during the 2015 PlayStation Experience keynote address, Japanese developer LEVEL-5 is working on the sequel to 2013’s Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. The JRPG blends the beautiful legendary animation of Studio Ghibli with tight gameplay and storytelling. Revenant Kingdom reunites Yoshiyuki Momose’s character designs with Joe Hisaishi’s music from the first Ni No Kuni.

With the reveal, the first trailer was shown, detailing the story of the sequel. Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom follows the story of a young Evan, the Boy King who must work with Roland, a lost stranger from another world. The two will pair up with other unlikely allies to reclaim his throne and fulfill the promise he made to his late mother of ruling a peaceful land. No gameplay has been shown, players can expect the same classic JRPG format.
