Even though NBA 2K23 just officially released days ago, the first 99 OVR Dark Matter is already available. However, getting to that point won’t be a walk in the park. What Do You Need to Get Larry Bird in NBA 2K23?
Obtaining Larry Bird will be a bit more difficult than usual, as I stated before. NBA 2K23 has decided to add a new system to the collection process called Trophy Case. To earn Trophy Cases for each team, you will have to do agendas, lock in collections, compete in different modes, or randomly earn cards in packs. Each of the 30 NBA teams has 15 individual cards that you have to earn to complete that Trophy Case. This may seem like quite a task, but once again, It’s Larry Bird, so It’s Worth It.
Each Trophy Case reward is a player. Every Trophy Case player you earn is 96 OVR versions of some of that team’s best players. So, this means you will have to complete a division’s Trophy Cases. 5 teams make up a division, so this time, instead of collecting 15 cards, you need to collect 75 cards. Be patient; we’re almost to the finish line to get Larry Bird now.
Each division that you complete will give you a 97 OVR player card. Next, you’ll have to finish 3 divisions for each conference.
Completing both conferences will give you a 99 OVR card, Dark Matter Trophy Case Larry Bird in NBA 2K23.
