This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

One of the 2K22 Badges that has made its way into NBA 2K23 is the highly sought-after On Court Coach Badge, which enables players to make calls and better control their team. Of course, this ability is not unknown to fans, as they are able to call plays at any time they wish during a match. However, this unique Badge significantly increases the chances of teammates acknowledging the plays that the protagonist calls out. Therefore, this beneficial effect makes the Badge a desirable addition to players’ upgrades. Continue reading to learn how to unlock the On Court Coach Badge in NBA 2K23.

Unlocking The On Court Coach Badge In NBA 2K23

NBA 2K23 How to Get the On Court Coach Badge

After completing Uncle Bobby’s Main Quest, the player protagonist will receive a Special Side Quest from Zion Williamson called “Becoming An On Court Coach.” To complete Zion’s challenge, fans must achieve 25 activated Leadership Skills during NBA matches. Once this task has been fulfilled, players will receive the On Court Coach Badge and can call plays in NBA 2K23 MyCareer.

NBA 2K23 fans can know what Zion’s challenge of activating 25 Leadership Skills entails. First, to view one’s progress for the challenge, head to the MyCareer Quest Journal. Select the Side tab and open the Special drop-down list. Among these quests, players should be able to see “Becoming An On Court Coach.” Beneath “Objective” on the right of the screen, players will see the number of activated Leadership Skills they have achieved thus far. Once this number reaches 25, the On Court Coach Badge will automatically unlock in NBA 2K23.

Unlike the previous iteration of NBA 2K, 2K23 does not necessitate players to earn a specific grade during a match to get On Court Coach. However, since fans can only activate their Leadership Skills a limited number of times during a single game, some NBA match grinding will be required. Fortunately, in-game basketball matches tend to finish more quickly than their 2-hour counterparts in real life. After several hours of grinding and activating Leadership Skills, players will eventually earn their On Court Coach Badge.

NBA 2K23 is available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
