Finding the Gachapon Machines in Mirroria of Tower of Fantasy
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

While exploring the wide-open sandy deserts of the Vera region in Tower of Fantasy, Wanderers will eventually stumble upon a collectible known as the Old Vera Coin. These interactable objects are distinguishable by their hexagonal shape and the large “V” minted into their field. According to its in-game description, these coins are out of circulation, meaning they cannot be used like Gold to purchase normal items from NPC vendors. However, they do serve as currency for “out-of-market” gachapon machines. Similar to the multiple gachapon-related events Tower of Fantasy has held since its launch, Old Vera Coins can be used to “pull” RNG-based rewards.

To spend Old Vera Coins in Tower of Fantasy, players must head to Mirroria, the giant, obelisk-shaped floating city in Vera. After entering the cyberpunk city, travel to the Mirafleur Hall, a small district south of the Oasis Club and north of the Asset Management Center.

The Mirafleur Hall contains a row of gachapon machines that can be used to exchange Old Vera Coins for random prizes in Tower of Fantasy. Possible prizes include Red Nuclei, Weapon Batteries, Crystals, Dark Crystals, and other useful items to help Wanderers on their journey. Keep in mind that these machines should be treated similarly to the Special Order gacha system for pulling weapons or Matrices. In other words, spending Old Vera Coins to receive a specific item is not possible, as the drop rate is entirely up to chance.

To get more Old Vera Coins in Tower of Fantasy, players have multiple options. As mentioned above, it is possible to find several dozen out in the wilderness of the Vera region. However, once Wanderers had collected them all, they had two other sources of gachapon coins. First, Guided states that players can receive Old Vera Coins when opening Level 1 and Level 2 Pods found out in the wild. These Pods also drop rarities such as Gold Nuclei, which is used to pull from the standard gacha banner. Another source of Old Vera Coins is the Bounty system. Vera Bounties typically involve hunting down and defeating a specific mob or elite enemy in the region. Fulfilling a single Bounty will reward players with around 20 Old Vera Coins.
