It’s finally Saturday again, and that can only mean that we have a new BitLife weekly challenge to work on: the Death Note Challenge! This week will be fun as we play pretend as the protagonist from the popular anime Death Note. However, we’ll be doing it all the hard way rather than writing out names in a journal. This week will require that you start a new BitLife and even have Bitizen unlocked so you can control your character’s attributes and location. Keep reading to learn how to complete the Death Note Challenge in BitLife.

Before we jump into completing this week’s challenge, let’s take a closer look at what sort of tasks we’ll be completing in order to collect the Mystery Prize at the end of the challenge.

  1. Be Born a Male in Japan
  2. Have 100% Smarts and Looks
  3. Become a Detective
  4. Make a Coworker Your Enemy, Then Your Friend
  5. Murder 10+ People

BitLife: How to Complete the Death Note Challenge

  1. Be Born a Male in Japan
    1. This portion of the challenge is fairly simple. With Bitizen purchased, you can easily choose your gender and location when you create your character. Otherwise, you’ll just have to randomize your character and restart your lives until you’ve landed on a male who resides in Japan.
  2. Have 100% Smarts and Looks
    1. This task will require quite a bit of work, as you’ll have to really focus in school if you don’t have Bitizen purchased.
    2. First of all, for Smarts, you’ll have to do a lot of studying and go to the library throughout middle and high school.
    3. To raise your looks, going to the gym and even getting some plastic surgery done can definitely do the trick!
  3. Become a Detective
    1. First, you’ll have to have extremely good stats, which you should have from the previous task. Make sure you excel in school and have the opportunity to go to University after you graduate High School.
    2. Once you’ve graduated from University, you’ll need to get into Law School and be at the top of your class, so be ready to study quite a bit!
    3. Once you’ve graduated from law school, you’ll have to work for ten years before it is even possible for you to get a detective job. However, once you’ve worked for 10 years, you can start searching through the job listings. The only job you’ll get hired for at this point is a Junior Detective position, but it still counts, so jump on that job listing as soon as you see it.
  4. Make a Coworker Your Enemy, Then Your Friend
    1. This task is one of the simpler tasks you’ll have to tackle for this challenge. Simply be really rude to a coworker until you’ve become their enemy, then start to be nice to them and give them gifts and compliment them until you’ve become friends.
  5. Murder 10+ People
    1. This task is a bit tricky. You’ll have to manage to stay out of prison and not get caught. Otherwise, you won’t have the time to complete the challenge, as doing multiple years in prison at a time can lower the amount of time you have left to live your life.
    2. Once you find someone you want to murder, use the Crime tab to select the way that you want to complete each murder.
    3. If you do somehow get arrested for the murder, you can learn how to escape prison here.

This is everything you need to know about how to complete the Death Note Challenge in BitLife. Be sure to check back for more useful guides, and as always, be safe and have fun!

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
