Lightning Ring Evolution in Vampire Survivors
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Lightning Ring is a Weapon in Vampire Survivors that summons lightning bolts from the heavens to randomly strike enemy targets from below. While it is the Starting Weapon of Porta Ladonna, players can unlock it by slaying 5,000 enemies. This Weapon is useful for passively dealing with foes that are both within or outside the player character’s reach. Naturally, it is not an ideal armament when attempting to focus attacks on a single enemy like a boss or an elite. Nevertheless, it can be practical for providing high single- and multi-target damage to hordes of monsters and demons in Vampire Survivors.

Duplicator Unlock Via Magic Wand in Vampire Survivors

Thunder Loop is the Evolution of Lightning Ring in Vampire Survivors. To acquire this Weapon Evolution, players must obtain a Passive Item known as the Duplicator, which, as its name suggests, duplicates the number of projectiles fired from one’s weaponry. To unlock the Duplicator, fans will need to get the Magic Wand to Level 7.

The Magic Wand is a Weapon in Vampire Survivors that fires magic missiles at the nearest enemy target. It is also the Starting Weapon of Imelda Belpaese, one of the first characters players can unlock at the beginning of their playthrough. Accordingly, players will need to play as Imelda Belpaese or acquire the Magic Wand during a Stage as another character, after which the Weapon must reach Level 7 to unlock Duplicator. When this moment occurs, fans must also have the Lightning Ring in their inventory to fulfill the Evolution requirement for the Thunder Loop in Vampire Survivors.

According to the community-run Vampire Survivors Wiki, a Passive Item known as the Candelabrador is “one of the most effective ways to increase the power of the Lightning Ring and Thunder Loop.” For reference, the Candelabrador is unlocked by advancing Santa Water to Level 4 and increases Area by 10% per level. As a result, the player’s Thunder Loop’s lightning strikes will progressively produce an increasingly larger damaging AoE, making an excellent means to deal with massive hordes of enemy targets in Vampire Survivors. However, the Lightning Ring and its Evolution is less effective during the early game.

Vampire Survivors is available on PC, Xbox Game Pass, and mobile platforms.
