Currently, the community seems to agree that there are only three best Marksman Rifles in COD: Modern Warfare 2: the SP-R 208 and SA-B 50 — and to a slightly lesser degree, EBR-14. Below we will tell you the best Attachment Loadout build for the SP-R 208, SA-B 50, and EBR-14 Marksman Rifles in COD: Modern Warfare 2.
The Best SP-R 208 Marksman Rifle Build in COD: Modern Warfare 2
Since SP-R 208 is a bolt-action Marksman Rifle, by default, its fire rate and mobility are lacking. But its downsides can be mitigated with a few Attachment tweaks, making it exceptionally accurate and devastating. As long as your aim is true, a single tap should down any opponent you’re aiming at.
These are the recommended Attachment loadout, courtesy of YouTuber Zephy:
- Laser: Corio Laz-44 V3
- Optic: SP-X 80 6.6X
- Stock: ZRL T70 Pad Extension
- Comb: Aim-Assist 406
- Bolt: FSS ST87 Bolt

The Best SA-B 50 Marksman Rifle Build in COD: Modern Warfare 2
Now, let’s talk about another slightly less popular, but not less dangerous Marksman Rifle, the SA-B 50. Although the rifle is also a bolt-action one, SA-B 50 has a faster fire rate, making it a bit easier to use if you are not particularly confident with your aiming. Nevertheless, this particular build is optimized for quickscoping:
- Magazine: 5 Round Mag
- Bolt: FSS ST87
- Laser: Schlager PEQ Box IV
- Stock: XRK Specter Mod
- Comb: Aim Assist 406

The Best EBR-14 Build in COD: Modern Warfare 2
For those of you who prefer using a semi-auto Marksman Rifle, then this is your best choice. As you can expect though, it is not a one-shot kill weapon, but the TTK is still solid thanks to its accuracy, speed, and damage. YouTuber Speros recommends utilizing these Attachments:

- Magazine: 20 Round Mag
- Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
- Stock: SO-90 Factory Stock
