Want to know about the best ways to get Invisibility in Hogwarts Legacy? As a Hogwarts student, you can explore a lot of amazing things. Spells, potions, magical creatures, and structures beyond the control of physics – this is what will surround you every day. Among other things, fans of the JK Rowling universe remember that wizards can become invisible in the world of magic. After all, Harry Potter wielded the legendary Cloak of Invisibility, and you can get it too. However, a Cloak of Invisibility is not the only way to get Invisibility in Hogwarts Legacy, and we’ll cover the best ways to do so.

Best Ways to Get Invisibility in Hogwarts Legacy

Despite the almost limitless possibilities of magic, there are only three ways to get Invisibility in Hogwarts Legacy. You can find and use the legendary Cloak of Invisibility, but this method has a decisive flaw. Also, you can’t get Cloak of Invisibility too early in the story. The second way is to use the Invisibility Potion. You can buy it or craft it yourself, but this method is more ultimate. Finally, you can learn the Disillusionment spell. Thanks to this, you can become Invisible at almost any moment. However, let’s talk about everything in order.

How to Get and Use Invisibility Potion

Speaking of Invisibility Potion, we are unlikely to surprise you by describing its properties. Drinking this potion will make you invisible for 1 minute. All NPCs or enemies will lose sight of you, so this is a good Potion for stealth missions. You can also use it to escape from the battlefield against a superior opponent.

To get Invisibility Potion in Hogwarts Legacy, you can visit the J. Pippin’s Potions shop you already know. For one potion, you will have to pay 500 Coins. On the other hand, also you can buy the Invisibility Potion Recipe for 800 Coins and make your potion. But for this, you will also need to collect the following ingredients:

  • Leaping Toadstool Caps x1
  • Knotgrass Sprig x1
  • Troll Bogeys x1

How to Unlock and Use the Disillusionment Spell

Unlike potions, to use the Disillusionment Spell, you do not have to spend ingredients to get Invisibility. You only need to unlock and equip this spell in your spell wheel and then use it on yourself like any other spell. Luckily, you can unlock the Disillusionment Spell quite early on in the story, and here’s how to do it:

  • First, you must start attending the Defense Against the Dark Arts class and meet the teacher named Professor Hecat.
  • Complete several related quests, including getting to know the Sebastian Sallow character.
  • Shortly after that, you will have to sneak into the Forbidden Section of the library, and Sebastian will agree to help you.
  • But so that the elders and teachers do not notice you, he will teach you the Disillusionment Spell.

How to Get and Use Cloak of Invisibility

As for Cloak of Invisibility, everything is not so simple here. We must upset you if you dreamed of having this item in your permanent possession. For the entire Hogwarts Legacy story, you can only find and use the Cloak of Invisibility once as part of Niamh Fitzgerald’s Keeper Trial quest.

You will be able to receive this quest shortly after reaching level 23 and after completing The Polyjuice Plot quest. You have to use Polyjuice Potion to transform into Professor Black. The search for knowledge and ancient magic will lead you to the Restricted Section and then to the headmaster’s office at Hogwarts. After a short conversation with a picture of former headmistress Niamh Fitzgerald, you will read a mysterious book that will take you to the distant past.

During this quest, you must find and get all three Deathly Hallows and defeat Death. The Cloak of Invisibility will be the first item you discover shortly after starting this challenge. But unfortunately, after completing the quest, all items will remain in the past, and you will not be able to use Cloak of Invisibility during your gameplay. However, Invisibility Potion is also good.

Hogwarts Legacy will beย available onย PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
