How to Complete The Pound Mission in Warzone 2 DMZ
This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

The Pound mission in Warzone 2 DMZ is one of the hard challenges you face while completing Crown faction objectives. In this mission, you must exfil with your backpack filled with dog tags. Here’s how you can complete this contract in the best ways possible.

DMZ missions are often relatively easy to accomplish. But as you finish all the objectives in one tier, the next will be much more complicated. The Pound is a tier 4 mission in the crown faction, meaning it takes courage to complete its tasks.

For this mission, you must enter one of the maps in the DMZ mode and exfil with a backpack full of dog tags. Dog tags are inside the eliminated enemy operators’ packs, and this is where the mission gets challenging. You must find and kill enemy operators!

How to Collect Dog Tags for The Pound Mission in Warzone 2 DMZ

DMZ enemy dog tags

This mission depends on what kind of backpack you have. If you have a standard pack, you only need five dog tags to complete this mission after exfil. But if you have a large one, nine dog tags are required!

To find the enemy operators, you have three basic ways:

  • Do Hunt Squad contracts.
  • Wait on the exfil locations.
  • Tracing enemy fires and activating UAV

The best way to find the enemy operators is the Hunt Squad contract. This contract is only found on the Al-Mazrah map and will give a close location of an enemy player. But be advised, an online player in DMZ is probably with teammates.

Killing the enemy will end the contract, but make sure to kill the other members after you pick the dog tag. Unless their teammates can see you on the minimap and will probably come to hunt you.

The other way to complete the Pound Mission in Warzone 2 DMZ is by going to one of the exfil locations in the maps. Here you can wait and set up traps to kill the other teams trying to exfil, especially on the smaller map of Ashika Island.

You can trace the enemy fire and activate UAV towers (or UAV killstreak) too. This method is best used on Ashika Island as it is smaller. Sometimes going around the strongholds is also a good way to scout and find other players as they try to invade the place.

Remember, to finish the Pound Mission in Warzone 2 DMZ, you must fill your backpack with dog tags and exfil. Also, if you have a large pack and are in trouble killing nine players in one deployment, there is no way you can make the BP smaller. Unless you just die and restart!

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is free to play on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam or Battle.Net launcher.
