Want to know how to hit Home Runs in MLB The Show 23? The annual reimagining of the MLB The Show series of baseball simulations, as always, brought a lot of new things to the game. And while everyone wants to quickly dive into the study of new team rosters, first of all, it is worth talking about the basic gameplay concepts like control. The developers slightly changed the process of performing some tricks, including the unbeatable Home Runs. So today, we are here to help you and tell you how to hit Home Runs in MLB The Show 23 and how to do it more effectively.

MLB The Show 23: Hit Home Runs

As we all know, Home Runs are what fans love about baseball. This technique is impossible to resist because if the ball flies out of the outfield, the team will have unlimited time to complete a full circle around the bases. And while choosing the right player is essential, your team control skills are far more integral.

So before you go to the match, we advise you to study the game controls. Go to the Settings menu and set up comfortable control by choosing the appropriate control mode for swing and hitting. You must practice with different settings in single-player mode. But here are some tips to help you hit Home Runs in MLB The Show 23:

  • First, try to maintain balance while aiming. Don’t worry when the pitcher throws the ball. Feel the moment and hit the ball when the scale is in the middle.
  • After a couple of successful hits, the pitcher’s confidence will decrease. He starts to throw more sluggish throws, and you can hit these easier. Try to be as productive as possible at the beginning of the match, and towards the end, you can do Home Runs without any problems.
  • Practice a lot. This tip is pretty obvious, but you’ll be surprised how good you feel the ball after hundreds and hundreds of shots.
  • This advice is more for newcomers to the world of MLB The Show. In addition to adjusting the control, you should try different camera angle (PCI) options. Various camera attributes can make a colossal difference to your performance. But you’ll probably feel uncomfortable changing this setting if you’ve spent a few hours playing with the default PCI.

Finally, it is worth adding that you can always lower the difficulty. To some, this will seem like a shameful decision, but not. Every professional player in the world league was once a rookie on the school team. Understanding the gameplay is much more important than high scores. More precisely, you will reach the top of the ratings much faster by training your skills gradually instead of immediately rushing to the pitcher’s lightning throws.

MLB The Show 23ย is available onย Nintendo Switch,ย PlayStation, andย Xbox consoles.
