Get Combat Rifles and Scrap Them

Once you hit level 20, watch for Scorched enemies in the Wasteland. These pesky foes can drop the Combat Rifle Plan as a loot drop. And the best part? The Combat Rifle plans level with you! So, as you level up, the rifles dropped by Scorched enemies will also match your level, ensuring you always have a powerful weapon in your hands. Then, to get the Combat Rifle Plan in Fallout 76, scrap Combat Rifles that you find or obtain from enemies. Scrapping weapons at a workbench can yield new plans, including the coveted Combat Rifle Plan. So, break down any spare Combat Rifles you come across to increase your chances of unlocking the plan and adding it to your crafting repertoire.

Complete the Motherlode quest to earn the Combat Rifle Plan in Fallout 76

As a savvy Vault Dweller, you know that quests can be a goldmine for rare plans and blueprints. Another way to get it is to complete the quest “The Motherlode” in the Savage Divide region of the map. Once you’ve triumphed over the challenges and completed the quest, you’ll get the Combat Rifle Plan as part of your loot.

Watch for vendors that sell weapon plans as part of their inventory. Visit vendors in different regions of the Wasteland, such as the Watoga Shopping Plaza or the Whitespring Resort, and check their stock for the Combat Rifle Plan. With some haggling or trading, you can secure the plan from a savvy vendor and add it to your collection.

Trade with other players

If the first two options are out of your reach, engage in some witty player-to-player trading to get the Combat Rifle Plan in Fallout 76. Join player groups or communities, and connect with fellow Vault Dwellers willing to participate in the plan in exchange for other items or caps. Player trading can be a fun and interactive way to obtain rare plans, including the Combat Rifle Plan, and make new friends in the Wasteland.
