Wondering which Divine Beast is the easiest or the most challenging in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild? We all know The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for its immersive open-world gameplay and challenging dungeons known as Divine Beasts. These massive mechanical creatures, controlled by the champions of Hyrule, pose formidable challenges for players as they navigate through intricate puzzles and battle Ganon’s wrath. But which Divine Beast is the easiest to conquer, and which one will test your skills to the max?

4. Vah Medoh

Vah Medoh, piloted by the champion Revali and in the skies above Rito Village, is the easiest beast to defeat of them all. The place looks stunning, and you’ll find several rewards atop the canyons.

The central puzzle inside Vah Medoh involves using the glider to follow air currents and activate terminals. Though it may not be challenging, it’s a fun way to put your glider to use.

Additionally, Ganon’s Wrath of Wind, the boss of Vah Medoh, is relatively straightforward to defeat using bomb arrows. Once players defeat the boss, they get the Fury of Revali, a powerful ability that enhances their bow skills.

3. Vah Ruta

The second easiest Divine Divine beast is Vah Ruta, piloted by the champion Mipha and located in the waters of Zora’s Domain. Unless you get sidetracked by the side quests (not like it happened to us or anything), you’ll find your way to Zora’s Domain pretty easily. These conditions turn Vah Ruta into the second-easiest of the divine beasts in Breath of the Wild.

To access the interior of Vah Ruta, players need to work with Sidon, the prince of the Zoras. Inside, players need to activate terminals using the inner mechanism of the beast and the ice floe.

Defeating Ganon’s Wrath of Water involves using chain attacks, the ice floe, and electric arrows once players defeat the boss and are rewarded with Mipha’s Prayer, a healing ability that boosts their whole hearts.

2. Vah Rudania

Vah Rudania, located in Death Mountain and piloted by the champion Daruk, is the second most difficult Divine Beast. The place is called Death Mountain; need we say more?

Accessing the interior of Vah Rudania is made challenging by the complete darkness inside until players activate a terminal with the map. After that, players must strategically use fire arrows to activate the other terminals and progress through the beast.

Defeating Ganon’s Wrath of Fire requires using remote bombs and ice arrows. So it’s not like you can beat Vah Rudania with any stick you find lying around the map. So, he’s one of the most challenging divine beasts in Breath of the Wild. Once players defeat the boss, they are rewarded with the Shield of Daruk, a powerful shield that offers protection against enemy attacks.

1. Vah Naboris

The most challenging of the divine beasts in Breath of the Wild is Vah Naboris, piloted by the champion Urbosa and located in the Gerudo Desert. Because even getting to the desert is a challenge in itself.

Accessing the interior of Vah Naboris involves working with Riju, the leader of the Gerudo, and solving various electrical puzzles. In addition, the design of Vah Naboris, with its complex moving parts, can be confusing and challenging to navigate.

Defeating Ganon’s Lightning Wrath, the boss of Vah Naboris, requires precise movements and continuous magnet use to electrocute it. Once players defeat the boss, they are rewarded with the Wrath of Urbosa, an ability that increases their attack power.

Will Divine Beasts be in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

In Breath of the Wild, the Divine Beasts were a challenging and integral part of the game, each with unique puzzles and bosses to overcome. Still, Tears of the Kingdom seems to lack Sheikah technology, which means no beasts.

Breath of the Wild fans were thrilled to spot a familiar Sheikah element in the latest trailer. At the 1:39 mark, Link is seen riding an elevator with a Sheikah pedestal underneath his feet, emitting the iconic blue glow of Sheikah technology.

But for those worried that Tears of the Kingdom might turn into a mundane walking simulator without the Divine Beasts, fear not! The trailer showcases numerous thrilling enemy encounters, with one standout moment at 3:19 featuring the formidable Gleeok.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available on Nintendo Switch.
