The Co-Op campaign progression in Redfall is very different. You can play with up to four players in a lobby to enjoy this game’s story with your friends. But your progression isn’t going to be measured unless you follow a particular rule! Here’s everything you need to know about how the progression system works in Redfall.

The first thing you need to know about the Co-Op mode in Redfall is the cross-play. This game is currently available for Xbox Series X|S and PC, and players can play Redfall with their friends on both platforms. All you have to do is invite your friends to your lobby, and you are ready to go. However, there’s a catch on this; only the host can progress through the story!

If you add your friends to your lobby, you can start the story mode together. However, they can’t progress through their story Solo or with any other friends. This means that each player should continue their game’s story on their own host. Simply put, if Player 1 is the host and Player 2 and Player 3 join him, only Player 1 will progress through the story.

Now you may not be able to progress through the Co-Op Campaign in Redfall if you join your friends, but at least you’ll get to keep your items. All the items you achieve and add to your inventory in Co-Op mode will remain in your inventory even if you start a solo new game or play with another host. You can use your obtained guns, gear, and, most importantly, skills. This can give you and your friends a huge advantage if you already have some items. Suppose you have finished the game solo or with a host; now, if you play with your other friends, you can dominate their Redfall server with your characters’ skills and gear!

Redfall is currently available for Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and Epic Games.
