If you’re spending your time in Tears of the Kingdom building cars, robots, or airplanes and struggling with energy, you’re in luck. Even though it is briefly mentioned early in the prologue, extending your Energy Cells and increasing their capacity can be obtuse and tough to figure out. That is where we step in. This guide will show you how to get more Zonai Energy Cells and increase Max Zonai Power in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

How to Increase Zonai Energy Cell Power in Tears of the Kingdom

The Zonai are an ancient race that created Hyrule, and their constructs can be found all over Hyrule and the Sky Islands. Early on in the game, Link will gain a Zonai Energy Cell strapped to his belt. This device allows you to power any machines you create with Zonai technology, such as fans, flame emitters, and more. The Zonaite currency can be more than a little confusing, but we will explain it as simply as we can.

This is a list of every Zonai currency, which is what you need to increase the capacity of your Zonai Energy Cell.

  • Zonaite: A primary Zonai currency.
  • Large Zonaite: A currency used to purchase expensive Zonai gear.
  • Zonai Charge: Used to give you a temporary power boost to your Zonai Energy Cell.
  • Large Zonai Charge: Used to give you a massive but temporary power boost.
  • Crystallized Charge: 100 will increase your Zonai Energy Cell Power.
  • Large Crystallized Charge: This is equal to 20 standard charges.

You can exchange Zonaite and Large Zonaite for regular or large Crystalized Charges in each foundry. When you have more than 100 of them, you must visit a particular vendor to increase your Zonai Energy Cell power capacity.

How to Get Energy Wells in Tears of the Kingdom

Now that you have the currency, head to the location on the above map. The Crystal Refinery is located on Great Sky Island at coordinates 0363, -1651, 2298. Speak to the Steward Construct, and click the Energy Wells option. This will let you exchange 100 Crystallized Charges and increase your Zonai Energy Cell capacity.

Now that you know how to get more Zonai Energy Cells & Increase Max Zonai Power, create anything your heart desires and watch how long they last in the field.
