Besides your HP, Stamina inย Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomย is Link’s second-most important character stat. Whether you’re scaling a cliffside or swimming across a river, a sufficient Stamina bar is essential for reaching your destination. In other words, a lack of adequate energy can result inย Link falling to his doomย or sinking to the bottom of a lake. As a result, understanding how to increase Stamina inย Tears of the Kingdomย is crucial for exploration. To get started, you’ll need a resource called Stamina Vessels.

Stamina Vessels are what Heart Containers are to Link’s HP. Collecting them will boost your Stamina wheel, improving exploration capacity. In fact, exploration is the ‘key’ to getting the Stamina Vessels in the first place! What we mean by this is that finding andย completing Shrinesย answers the question, “How to increase staminaย Tears of the Kingdom.”

Shrines are landmarks that offer a variety of challenges and puzzles bundled inside an instanced location. You’ll visit one at the beginning of your journey toย unlock the Ultrahand. From then onward, it’s Shrine after Shrine, where you’ll learn new abilities, mechanics, and much more. At the end of a Shrine, you’ll receive a Light of Blessing. If you’ve been wondering what these evil-purging crystals are for, “currency for Stamina Vessels” is the answer.

To spend Lights of Blessing, you must visit aย Goddess Statueย inย Tears of the Kingdom. For instance, one can be found on theย Great Sky Island, while another’s in the Emergency Shelter of Lookout Landing. Whichever one you visit, the result will be the same. The statue will ask if you want a Heart Container or Stamina Vessel in exchange forย Light of Blessing ร—4. Accordingly, this means you must have completed four Shrines prior to meeting the Goddess Statue.

Suppose you’ve upgraded your HP many times, but you regret that you don’t have enough Stamina to explore effectively. Fear not, as a demon-shaped horned statue in the underground Royal Hidden Passage offers a stat-swapping service.

For the price of 100 Rupees, you can have a stat point between your Health and Stamina swap places. This decision could be risky for those who often get hurt in combat. But if you’re confident that you own more HP than needed, the horned statue is the NPC for the job.

To summarize, here’s how to get more Stamina in Tears of the Kingdom:

  1. Find and Complete four Shrines in the open world.
  2. Visit a Goddess Statue and offer Light of Blessing ร—4.ย
  3. Select Stamina Vessel.
