There are so many various weapons in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that it can be hard to find your favorites. Because of weapon degradation, you know it will eventually break even after you get it. That being said, there is a particular bow that you can find in the game that is quite powerful and a reference to a past Zelda game. Even when it breaks, you can get it again pretty easily. Make sure to take advantage of this powerful free item. Here is how to get the Dusk Bow in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Where is the Dusk Bow in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

(Updated on October 1, 2024 – updated links and format)

The Dusk Bow is a weapon that is a reference to The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. If you are a big fan of that game, you may want to consider grabbing it in Tears of the Kingdom, as it is one of the more powerful early-game items you can get.

To find the Dusk Bow, you just need to reach the top of Hyrule Castle. The iconic bow is near the summit of the tallest tower, just sitting in some rubble. This is most easily done by using the Lookout Landing Skyview Tower to launch yourself into the air and paragliding over. If you have Tulin to help you, it is even easier.

Even if you don’t have the stamina to glide all the way over to the top, this shouldn’t be too difficult of a time. Be sure to find bridges and ceilings that you can use Ascend to jump through and you should reach the top without too much of an issue. You can also build a vehicle to help fly you over if you have the Zonai Charge for it.

When you grab the Dusk Bow, you will see that it is a 30 attack damage bow. It also has great range, letting you pick off foes from a distance. Not many other bows can boast that kind of utility, especially for being located near the first settlement on the surface.

Like other weapons in Tears of the Kingdom, the Dusk Bow will eventually break after you use it for a while. Luckily, you can always grab it again from the top of Hyrule Castle after a Blood Moon has passed. Additionally, you can purchase another from Bargainer Statues if you have the Poes to spend.
