In FFXIV, the Traveling Supporter Mount is a fun machine mount you can summon once you gain the proper Identification Key. After all, it’s not much of a Final Fantasy game if you aren’t traveling on a fun or strange mount. However, you can only get the Traveling Supporter during the 6.4 Patch The Dark Throne. As it lasts for months, you have plenty of time to grab one.

The game describes the Traveling Supporter as a bipedal machina. It is an advanced machine initially discovered by a quartermaster from the Eorzean Alliance that found the odd machine in the Carteneau Flats. The machina resembles that of a giant metal bunny, and it travels on land and in the air. Who wouldn’t want to go for a ride on one of those?

Of course, you have to unlock access to the FFXIV Traveling Supporter Mount to use it. As we mentioned, you can only do it during The Dark Throne. Participate in the Crystalline Conflict Series Malmstones, and once you reach Level 25 in the PvP event, you can unlock the mount.

The specific reward you receive is the Traveling Supporter Identification Key. You will use the odd-looking contraption to summon and bring life to your new mount.

Series 4 of the PvP event offers players plenty of new rewards to earn and enjoy. Besides numerous Trophy Crystals you can trade at the Crystal Quartermaster, you can also unlock unique rewards like Heartfelt Sincerity Emote. The FFXIV Traveling Supporter Mount just so happens to be the final unique reward available in Series 4.

Because of its placement, it can take some time to reach Level 25 in the game. The first thing you want to do is make sure you get your daily match in. In the Daily Roulette: Frontline, you can now gain extra EXP. So, the daily match-ups are a must-have to help you level up at a steady pace.

If you want to reach Level 25 faster to access the mount, then some PvP grinding might be necessary. Just jump into the standard PvP matches in the Crystalline Conflict to gain the EXP you need. Participating alone does get you points, but winning means much more. So, it is vital that you head into the PvP matches prepared. Before you know it, you will parade around on your FFXIV Traveling Supporter Mount and show off your appreciation for oversized metal bunnies.

Final Fantasy XIV is available to purchase or try with the free trial on PC and PlayStation.
