He had a relationship where he was cheated on and one where he was ghosted. But you can’t be rude and untrustful to a new partner if they haven’t done anything wrong. Maybe with all those past issues, Riley should have spent some time falling back in love with himself. Alas, he didn’t, and the end result is that people already dislike him greatlyย because of his attitude.
Want to know how bad it gets? Well, for one, he can’t say I love you. He gives her the middle finger to say I love you. Maybe one of the unhealthiest things we’ve seen on the show in some time. But wait, it gets weirder. When they first met, he held a contest between them to see who could go longest without touching the other one. Yeah, it is all signs of a very broken manโa man who is not ready to love and trust again. Moreover, the result is he treats his lover like actual trash.
The dude also considered hiring a private eye to follow her and see if she cheats. Lastly, he flipped out when he found out she had her plans while he was out there. He wants to be the only source of her attention, which is wickedly unhealthy. The worst part is Violet seems genuinely sweet and kind and deserves better.
