In Dave the Diver, you must track down the abandoned yellow shipwreck to complete one of Duff’s missions. It’s not uncommon for Dave to search for things like specific items or sea creatures. In some cases, it’s people’s missing deliveries. Duff isn’t the only one up in arms about it, as others also mentioned a lack of deliveries. It’s all because of the yellow delivery ship now residing deep in the ocean. We’ll show you where to look so you can track down the shipwreck and the item with it.

The mission concerning the yellow shipwreck starts with Dr. Bacon. After you discuss needing a Deep Sea Headlamp, it’s also from Bacon that you hear about deliveries stopping. The conversation will lead you to seek out Duff, but he’s panicking about not receiving his limited-edition Leahs-chan figurine. Cue the start of your task to find the yellow shipwreck in Dave the Diver, albeit with some help from Duff.

Duff is willing to give you the Deep Sea Headlamp you need to explore more of the ocean, but he first wants you to find his figurine. So, now you’re off to discover a Pink Delivery Box. In the ocean, it’s hard to miss. The entire wrecked ship is hard to miss.

If you want to find the yellow shipwreck in Dave the Diver, head down from where you dive into the ocean in the first place. You will swim down roughly 100m, so your equipment should be upgraded to handle the depth. The bright yellow shipwreck is as noticeable as the Pink Delivery Box.

It’s not as simple as grabbing it. There’s a cutscene that shows a giant octopus tentacle come and yank the figurine away. Dave’s hands are tied, so it’s time to return to Duff.

Once you return to Duff, his specific mission is complete. However, if you want to enter the yellow shipwreck in Dave the Diver, you must continue further. You can quickly return to the surface through a nearby Escape Pod. Get the Gas Cutter from Duff and head back to the yellow shipwreck.

Now, you can swim to the hatch on top and use the Gas Cutter to open it. It’s a brief mini-game where you must maintain a steady mouse to keep the Cutter inside the small circle. Once you open it, head inside, and you will eventually face the end-chapter boss: the Giant Squid. So, be sure your equipment is up to par. Check out our guide on the Giant Squid to help you through the battle.
