This year’s class of Marvel’s Stormbreakers is teaming Captain America with Marvel heroes in new variant covers. Next month, Steve Rogers embarks on a new journey in Captain America #1. Writer J. Michael Straczynski and artist Jesus Saiz are delving into Roger’s youth to uncover a mystery in the present. To celebrate the upcoming release, Marvel’s Stormbreakers are debuting several covers that team Captain America up with several heroes from the Marvel Universe.

This is the third year Marvel’s Stormbreakers have assembled to bring a unique take on the Marvel Universe. Spanning out of the Young Guns program, Marvel’s Stormbreakers brings together several up-and-coming artists. The program gives them the opportunity to draw some of the biggest events, stories, and series in the Marvel Universe.

This year’s class includes Elena Casagrande, Nic Klein, Jan Bazaldua, Chris Allen, Martin Coccolo, Lucas Werneck, Federico Vicentini, and C.F. Villa. If you are a Marvel fan, it is smart to get familiar with these names; Marvel’s Stormbreakers have gone on to become some of the most recognized illustrators in the comic world. This year’s class is putting that skill to the test to pair Captain America up with some of Marvel’s greatest for this new series.

Serving Up Style In Variants

Steve Rogers’ new series will span the entire history of the Marvel superhero. A new evil that emerged in Rogers’ youth is returning to threaten his future. Naturally, Captain America is diving headfirst to put a stop to this threat. However, this time around, he is getting a little help from some of Marvel’s iconic heroes.

Marvel’s Stormbreakers are serving up style and action in variants that celebrate the new series. Each cover features Captain America teaming up with a new hero. These heroes include great characters like Blade, Ironheart, Moon Knight, and more. All eight covers, and their artist, are:

  • Black Panther #4 Variant Cover by Lucas Werneck
  • Moon Knight #27 Variant Cover by Elena Casagrande
  • Venom #25 Variant Cover by Federico Vicentini
  • Ghost Rider #18 Variant Cover by Nic Klein
  • Incredible Hulk #4 Variant Cover by C.F. Villa
  • Immortal Thor #2 Variant Cover by Jan Bazaldua
  • Invincible Iron Man #10 Variant Cover by Chris Allen
  • Blade #3 Variant Cover by Martin Coccolo
