The release of Assassin’s Creed: Mirage is fast approaching, and longtime fans of the Assassin’s Creed games are nearly bursting with anticipation. New fans of Assassin’s Creed are hoping to take the games for a spin before the latest release, which presents a problem. Getting into Assassin’s Creed can be a daunting task, given how expensive the games can be. There’s good news, though: whether you’re a new fan trying out the games for the first time or an old fan hoping to play a longtime favorite, Ubisoft‘s upcoming Assassin’s Creed free weekend event will make five games free for a limited time, with times offers varying by platform.

Ubisoft Announces Assassin’s Creed Free Weekend Event

Ubisoft has announced that during the Assassin’s Creed free weekend, five Assassin’s Creed games will be made free-to-play across Xbox, PS4, PS5, and PC. Assassin’s Creed II, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will all be available for a limited time, though which games are offered varies from platform to platform.

Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X: All five games will be available to Xbox Live Gold subscribers from 11 a.m. PT on August 10th through 5 a.m. PT on August 14th.

PS4 & PS5: Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will be available to everyone starting at 11 a.m. PT on August 10th and going until 5 a.m. PT on August 14th. The full Ezio Collection – that’s Assassin’s Creed II, Brotherhood, and Revelations – and Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag are available for free through a PlayStation Plus Extra subscription.

PC: The Ezio Collection and Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will be available for free on Ubisoft Connect from 9 a.m. PT on August 10th to 5 a.m. PT on August 14th. Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will also be available through the Epic Games store.

All five Assassin’s Creed games will also be discounted on all three platforms over the weekend. Per Ubisoft, Xbox players will be able to get select Assassin’s Creed games at a discount between August 15th and 28th. In addition, Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, Origins, and Valhalla, along with their DLCs, will be available on Xbox for up to a 70% discount.

Meanwhile, PlayStation players will be able to get up to 85% off the same games, along with other select Assassin’s Creed games, through August 30th. PC players will be able to get up to 85% off The Ezio Collection, Black Flag, Valhalla, Origins, and Odyssey through the Ubisoft Store until August 17th, and qualifying purchases can be put towards a Ubisoft Wallet.
