If you are here for the answer to the question “Can you respec in BG3?”, the answer is definitely yes. In Baldur’s Gate 3, being able to redistribute your characters’ stats is extremely important. This allows you to create a more customized party and closer to your play style. It is also a significant advantage to use this feature anytime for 100 Gold. You will also learn how to respec companions in BG3 in addition to your character. Without waiting any longer, let’s move on to Baldur’s Gate 3 respec guide.

To respec in Baldur’s Gate 3, you first need to reach an NPC named Withers. He is located in the Dank Crypt, where you must kill a few enemies and solve the puzzles. When you enter Overgrown Ruins, you will reach the Dank Crypt area after a while. You are on the right track when you enter the room with a white skeleton statue resembling the Grim Reaper.

Go to the corridor on the left side of this statue, and you will see a small orange button. Then the door will open, and you will see the Richly Adorned Sarcophagus in the room. Interact with this sarcophagus, and an NPC named Withers will appear. This NPC will allow you to respec in Baldur’s Gate 3. Start talking to the NPC; it doesn’t matter what you say.

Afterward, loot the area, and return to Camp Site after you leave the location. When you get to Camp Site, you will see Withers on the North side by the water. Talk to Withers, and when it is your turn to speak, you can choose “Can you help me change my class? (100)“. This allows you to respec your character in Baldur’s Gate 3 for 100 Gold.

How to Respec Companions in BG3

In Baldur’s Gate 3, the stats, classes, subclasses, and skills of other characters in your party are just as vital as your own. Because the more the skills of the people in your party synergize, the easier it will be for you on the battlefield. Respec companions in Baldur’s Gate 3 are as simple as respec your character. You must select the person you want to respec in your party members on the left side and talk to Withers. Then you can respec your desired companions by paying 100 Gold again.
