If you are a fan of horror movies, 2023 is not going to end as a disappointing year. There have been some entries in fan-favorite franchises, some completely original horror films, and some adaptations. Many of the horror films released in 2023 so far have outperformed their projections at the box office as well. The latest horror movie to be released revolves around a character that we have seen in many horror pictures before, the dark and brooding Dracula. The Last Voyage of the Demeter is based on a segment of Bram Stokerโs Dracula, one thatโs in the middle of the book. So, letโs see if The Last Voyage of the Demeter has a post-credits scene that sets up any more adventures for the fanged menace.

There is no post-credit scene in The Last Voyage of the Demeter. After watching the ship swaying on the water for two hours you might be in need of the bathroom, so nobody will think twice if you get up once the credits start to roll. The Last Voyage of Demeter wraps up rather nicely, with many characters dying, as you would expect from a horror film. Not every film needs a post-credits scene, but did this one?
Most post-credits scenes are placed in a film for one of two reasons. Either to tease a future installment in the franchise or a sequel or for a humorous sting at the end of the movie. Seeing as The Last Voyage of the Demeter ends in a way that sets up a future installment, and it isn’t a comedy, neither of these types of post-credits scenes would have fit.
