On July 11th, 2023, the developers behind Palia announced that they would be debuting a new “Refer a Friend” system to reward Palia players for sending invite links to their friends. Once their friend followed the invite link and created their Palia account, the player would be rewarded with an exclusive in-game item. The player can receive rewards for up to 5 friends who use their referral code when creating their account.
The first step to referring a friend in Palia is creating your account at Palia.com. After hitting the “Sign Up” button, fill out your account information as instructed. Once your account is created, go to the “Account Information” page – on the left side of the page, you should see a sidebar with an option labeled “Refer a Friend.” Go to this page, and you’ll see more information on Palia’s “Refer a Friend” program, the referral link to send to your friends, and a breakdown of the in-game rewards you’ll receive for referring friends.
For every friend you refer to Palia, they’ll receive a fruit basket decor item for decorating in-game, while you’ll find a reward in your in-game mailbox. You can earn rewards for referring up to five friends to Palia, and the rewards are as follows:

- 2 Friends: Finding Friends Chapaa Plush
- 3 Friends: Finding Friends Chapaa Outfit

On the other hand, inputting a Palia referral code when you create an account is a simple process. After you’ve received a referral link from an existing Palia player, paste the link into your browser, and you’ll be brought to the “Create an Account” page with a referral code automatically inputted. Once you create an account, you’ll receive an in-game fruit basket, and the original player who invited you will receive one of the rewards above.
