Early in Baldur’s Gate 3, you are granted access to the Druid Grove when you save the refugees from a Goblin attack. In this Baldurs Gate 3 location, where Tieflings abound, there is an NPC named Mol who uses children as thieves. And one of the children employed by this NPC steals your belongings, thus starting the Find Your Belongings side quest in Baldurs Gate 3. You need to find Mol located in Dragon’s Lair to find your belongings in BG3.
How to Complete Find Your Belongings in Baldurs Gate 3
First of all, you must follow the path to Druid Grove to start the Find Your Belongings quest in BG3. There you will see a character named Mattis at a stall on your left. This character claims to sell you lucky rings and then gives you a lucky ring for free. Afterward, he does a coin toss trick to convince you that your luck has just changed. However, if the character you are talking to Mattis with is a Wizard, you will realize that the ring is not magical. If you pass the Perception check after the conversation, you realize that your pockets are lighter, and this initiates the Baldurs Gate 3 Find Your Belongings quest.
Right after, you see the other boy with Mattis going into a secret hole, and it is obvious that he’s the one who stole your stuff. But be careful what you say when you talk to this boy because it could cause some problems in the future. When you go to this hole, your character will most likely not fit. So you will have to get to where that hole goes in another way. From here, you have two options to complete Baldurs Gate 3 Find Your Belongings quest.
Option 1
Go to the area with the 3 oxen, and there you will see a little boy named Doni. Start talking to Doni, and at the end, you will choose the option “Turn around to see what he’s looking at.” You will realize that Doni has disappeared through the secret passage between the rocks after you turn back to him. Then you have to go back to your camp, take a long rest, and come back to Doni.
When talking to Doni, it will be good for you to choose a character with good Perception stat. Ask Doni where he disappeared before, and then you will go through a Wisdom Check. If you succeed, Doni will point you to the secret passage, and then if you successfully pass the Persuasion Check, he will show you the door, and you can enter. This will allow you to find Mol in the Dragon’s Lair and complete the Baldurs Gate 3 Find Your Belongings quest.
Option 2
Another way to complete the Baldurs Gate 3 find your belongings quest is to turn left when you enter Druid Grove and head down to the beach. When you land on the beach you will find a boy named Mirkon, and when you start talking to him a few Harpies will start attacking you.
If you kill all the enemies and Mirkon survives, he will ask you to go to Doni and tell him that you want to see the Dragon’s Lair. When you go to Doni and say that you want to see the Dragon’s Lair, you can enter through this secret passage and find Mol. So your Baldurs Gate 3 Find Your Belongings quest is complete.
