August 22 marks the last day of the Noxious Swamp Event inย Pokemonย Go, during which Turtonator is available as a limited-time Three-Star Raid Boss. Offensive as it is defensive, this Blast Turtle Pokemon can be hard to take down if you don’t know what its elemental vulnerabilities are.ย Noxious Swampย is the perfect opportunity to grind for Shinies of this pocket monster as well, so recognizing what Turtonator’s weakness is inย Pokemon Goย is essential for winning Raids.

Turtonator is a Fire- and Dragon-type Three-Star Raid Boss inย Pokemon Go, causing to be weak toย Ground-,ย Rock-, andย Dragon-type Moves. As you might expect, using a Dragon-type counter to fight this spiky Blast Turtle is a pro but a potential con. Your Pokemon will deal significant damage to Turtonator but might get one-shot if your opponent has Dragon Pulse as its Charged Attack.

Besides Dragon Pulse, Turtonator will be equipped with the Fast Attacks Fire Spin or Ember, along with either the Charged Attack Flamethrower or Overheat. Suppose you don’t have enough high-tier Ground-, Rock-, and Dragon-type counters for the Three-Star Raid. If that’s the case, take anything else by Bug-, Steel-, Electric-, Fire-, and Grass-type pocket monsters, as their corresponding Movesets will be less effective.

Best Counters for Turtonator in Pokemon Go

Now that we’ve discussed what Turtonator’s weaknesses in Pokemon Go are, let’s go over the best counters for the Blast Turtle’s Raid:ย
