The Lone Phantom Sail is just one of the many quests that you can complete in Genshin Impact. This quest is part of the many new ones that were brought on in version 4.0 alongside others, such as A Certain Notice and Book of Esoteric Revelations. Some of these guides can be tricky if you don’t already know where you’re supposed to be going, so we outlined exactly how to complete The Lone Phantom Sail in Genshin Impact.

In order to complete The Lone Phantom Sail, you’ll want to have already completed the Hey, This Isn’t Pumpkin Soup quest in Merusea Village. After that, you’ll want to head over to A Lonely Place and speak with Ahes. You’ll then want to teleport to the above waypoint in the Elton Trench to continue on. Here, you’ll meet with Ahes again, who will ask you to use conches to send out signals using an Echoing Chonch. These signals essentially call out a phantom ship that you need to follow. To do this, you will need to find a Xenochromatic Blubberbeast nearby that has an ability that can be used on Echoing Conchs.

There are three signals that you are going to have to perform. We wrote out exactly how to master these signals so that you don’t have to worry about doing them over and over again:

  • Longest
    • Tap – Hold – Tap – Hold -Tap – Hold -Tap – Hold -Tap – Hold.
  • Middle Length
    • Hold – Tap – Hold.
  • Shortest
    • Hold – Hold – Hold – Hold – Hold

Ahes will have you investigate different areas of interest as you use the Echoing Conch to follow the phantom ship. After a while, you will need to follow the ship to land where there will be a shipwreck. If you look for clues around the shipwreck, then you will find a giant wooden bucket behind some crates. To make things easier, the crates have a lantern on top that is lit. If you look inside, enemies will appear that you need to defeat before the area with the lamp starts to glow. Once you’ve completed the quest, you will be rewarded with the following:

  • 40 Primogems
  • 23,000 Mora
  • Three Hero’s Wits
  • Three Mystic Enhancement Ores
  • One Strange Part

At that point, that’s all you’re going to need in order to complete The Lone Phantom Sail in Genshin Impact.
