Fear the Walking Dead Bloody Nick

After a three month hiatus, Fear the Walking Dead returns this Sunday with “Grotesque.” In the mid-season finale, “Shiva” we saw Celia’s compound burn to the ground and the group split three ways. You can read our review here for a refresher. Travis has left to the group and found his son Chris and plans not to return until he helps his son back from the dark corner he has retreated to in his mind. Strand, Madison, Ofelia, and Alicia are in another group and are attempting to find both Nick, as well as Travis and Chris. Nick has gone off on his own to walk among the dead.

“Grotesque” which airs this Sunday is centered entirely around Nick and his journey alone. Where is Nick going and just what is he looking for? As Nick travels through this unforgiving landscape, we will see flashbacks from a painful past. These flashbacks will explain not only where Nick’s real father is but what led him into that abandoned church when we first met him in season one. One thing has been clear from the trailers, we can expect much more zombies than we’ve seen in the past.

Are you excited for the return of Fear the Walking Dead? Be sure to let us know in the comments below and check back this Sunday for our review of “Grotesque.”
