The day is almost here. After much waiting, many teasers, and a brand-new update that set the stage for the DLC, CD Projekt Red is ready to open the gates to Dogtown. To celebrate that, the developers released the launch trailer for the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty expansion. If you haven’t been up-to-date with news related to this game, this new content will put V in a new area of Night City, allowing players to obtain a new ending and many more things by playing it. All of this is ready to launch on September 26.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Launch Trailer Teases V’s Struggles in Dogtown

Accompanied by Idris Elba, V is ready to join Dogtown in the upcoming Phantom Liberty expansion, as we saw in the recent launch trailer. So far, the developers have described this DLC as a spy-thriller where the main characters will face high-stakes choices and one of the best plots in the game. The latest video shows V facing one of their most difficult challenges against foes even Johnny Silverhand is wary of.

While it is sad to see Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty as the game’s one and only expansion, people are still glad for how far this title has come. After a rough launch riddled with bugs, the game is finally what we thought it’d initially be.

If you haven’t, there’s still time to pre-order the DLC. Yet, if you prefer to try the base game first, you can get it to see what update 2.0 is about. This new patch revamps many aspects of the game. There’s a new police system and even car combat, letting players live their Cyberpunk fantasy. Overall, this is a great time to join other mercs in the streets of Night City.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty launches on September 26 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
