Given some of the changes Bungie has made lately and will be making in the near future, Pulse Rifles will be making a bit of a comeback with massive potential. However, the PSI Hermetic V specifically, is already amazing for PvP, which means that it will be nearly unstoppable after the mid-season update drops for Destiny 2.
The weapon has amazing rolls for PvP, including weapon slots tailored to increased Range with the Hammer-Forged Rifling Barrel and the Accurized Rounds Magazine. Additionally, the Headseeker and Outlaw basic traits play well together, boosting precision damage and decreasing reload time with precision kills.
