Golden stickers are the rarest collectibles to gather in Monopoly Go. Stickers are rewards you earn by playing through the game. You can even purchase packs with currency to obtain more stickers. Each album in Monopoly Go is made up of nine unique stickers. Completing an album will gain you prizes, including special tokens. Unfortunately, you can obtain more than one of the same golden ticket. The only way to get rid of excess golden stickers is to trade one during the Golden Blitz event in Monopoly Go.

The Golden Blitz is a limited-time event where players can make five daily trades in Monopoly Go. This event allows trading between you and other players, exchanging the extra stickers that you have in your inventory. This is the best way to eliminate your excess golden stickers and potentially get a missing sticker in your collection.

However, the event is only limited to five trades daily. How long the event lasts depends on where you live, but the most common time limit is 12 hours. The start period is also different depending on where you live, with the event rolling out in Spain and South America earlier than other places. If you don’t see the event available to you right now, wait an hour or so to see if it arrived.

How To Trade Golden Stickers

The Golden Blitz also limits trades to only two specific stickers. Here’s how to take part in the Golden Blitz for Monopoly Go:

  • Open the Golden Blitz menu by hitting the event icon in the main menu.
  • Two cards will appear on the screen.
  • Select the sticker you already own an extra for, exchanging it for another golden sticker you hopefully don’t have already.

You don’t get to choose which sticker you get in return. The game will simply hand over whatever item it has available. While it isn’t fair to not be able to choose what sticker you want in return, the event is still a great opportunity to get rid of all your extra stickers. You don’t need to have more than one type of sticker, at least not in most cases, so it’s best to take advantage of the Golden Blitz event to clean out your album and hopefully get the collectibles you want.
