There are a few ways to earn XP, with the following five being the ones you’ll want to focus on the most. It’s important to note that some of the content in this guide will be spoilers for the rest of the game:

  • Main missions
  • Side missions
  • Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man requests

Main missions

Like most video games, the main missions are going to be the ones that will provide you with the most XP so that you can naturally level throughout your experience. you can expect anywhere between 300 – 3,000 XP for some missions.

Side missions

Both Peter and Miles have their own set of side missions that provide them each with XP. It’s also a great time to be able to learn each of their techniques and their abilities without necessarily disrupting what you’re doing in-game. Some of these side missions can give out a lot of XP, so we recommend doing them when you can.

Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man requests

These mission requests are fun ways to earn more XP, but they’re really fun and can sometimes feel like a bit of a chore. Some of them are pretty interesting and can help immerse you more into this version of New York City.

Performing tricks

You don’t get a lot of XP from this, and you’ll need to be consistent about it to earn enough to level up, but they’re fun to do. While you’re swinging around, you can press the square button and the right joystick in any direction to perform a trick between swings.

Corruptions

Corruptions is an open-world activity that can net you 1,200 XP for each one you do. In most cases, you’ll be setting up a device that needs protecting against waves of enemies with a time limit.
