NetherRealm Studios has released a new Mortal Kombat mobile title called Onslaught. The mobile experience has a gacha system where you can pull a character randomly through a summoning mechanic. You don’t get to decide what you pull, and how good of a character you gain is random. Mortal Kombat Onslaught will reward you with a free five-star character at the start, but you can reroll if you want a different Kombatant.

Five stars is the highest ranking for a Kombatant in Mortal Kombat Onslaught. They are also the rarest characters to draw when summoning new characters to join your collection. Fortunately, your first summon in the game will always be a five-star character.

You may want someone like Scorpion or Erron Black but end up drawing Kung Lao instead as your first pull. If you don’t begin Mortal Kombat Onslaught summoning the character you want the most, you can restart your progress and reroll to get a new five-star Kombatant.

Mortal Kombat Onslaught is only available on the Apple and Google Play Store for Android and iOS devices. Rerolling is different depending on what device you’re using. If you’re using an Android device, the steps to reroll are the following:

  1. Before starting the game, log in with a guest account.
  2. Complete the tutorial section to get your first pull.
  3. Summon the first character to get your guaranteed 5-star Kombatant.
  4. If it’s not the character you desired, exit the game and head to the Android Settings.
  5. Go to Apps and find the Onslaught app.
  6. Click on the app and select the Storage option.
  7. Pick Clear Data to remove all information about the game on your phone.
  8. Continue restarting the process until you gain the character you want.

The Setting options can vary among Android devices. Just make sure to find the app under Settings and clear the data off your phone so you can reroll fresh on Mortal Kombat Onslaught.

You can still reroll Mortal Kombat Onslaught on iOS, but it requires you to uninstall the game.

  1. After summoning your first pull, exit out of Onslaught.
  2. Uninstall the game from your device.
  3. Head to the App Store to re-download the game.
  4. Restart the Onslaught to get your first summon again.

However, it should be noted that finishing the tutorial in Onslaught can take between half an hour to an hour. Given how often you get the chance to summon new Kombatants, it isn’t worth rerolling in Mortal Kombat Onslaught.
