Remember when we were all watching the reveals for Monster Hunter Generations and Marth from Fire Emblem was there? Well, that promise has officially been fulfilled with the newest free DLC quests. In Fire Emblem: Warding Despair, hunters will take on a Hyper Silver Rathalos. Victory and completion of the quest will earn players a five-piece costume set based on Marth. His Falchion blade is present as well, having been given the Monster Hunter Generations treatment and made into a sword and shield style weapon. Take a look at the original trailer below for a refresher.

There’s more. The quest Mega Man: Yellow Devil presents a Hyper Royal Ludroth to slay. It yields a two-piece Felyne outfit and a hammer weapon. Ghosts ‘n Goblins: Seeing Red rewards hunters with a Felyne armor set styled after Arthur, the hero of Ghosts ‘n Goblins. Finally, the usual assortment of added Monster Hunter Generations goodies include 15 quests, nine weapons, four armor sets, eight Felyne gear sets, two extra Felynes, four card backgrounds, a card pose, 19 card titles, pumpkin pajama pet costume, and an item pack.

This DLC pack, as with others before it and those that will come after, is free to download. Access it through the in-game DLC menu, where you can also download older packs that you might have missed. The next pack is due on November 4, the first Friday of that month. The trend will continue through December to the start of next year, so be sure to keep your claws sharpened. Monster Hunter Generations itself can be purchased via digital download or physical cartridge. It will play on all 3DS systems, but a New 3DS might be preferable for online play.
