  • Where To Find A Mystery Box in MWZ
This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

The Mystery Box was first introduced in CoD World At War, and it has been featured in every single Zombies mode map, with the MW3 Zombies being no exception. In fact, the MWZ has many Mystery Boxes scattered around the map, and you need to use them to finish some missions. The Take Up Arms mission is a tier 1 MWZ objective that asks you to purchase a weapon from one of the Mystery Boxes, and here’s how.

What Are The Objectives of The MWZ Take Up Arms Mission?

  1. Purchase a weapon from a Mystery Box.
  2. Kill 50 zombies with a Mystery Box weapon.

Just like the Wall Power MWZ mission, the Take Up Arms is also pretty straightforward to complete. First, you would need to spot a Mystery Box and then buy a weapon from it just so you can use it to put some zombies back in their graves.

Remember that Purchasing a weapon from any Mystery Box costs around 950 cash. So before heading toward one of the Mystery Box locations, make sure that you do some contracts and gain points. You should also note that you can buy a random weapon from the Mystery Box many times to obtain a good gun, and all of them will work for completing the MWZ Take Up Arms mission.

If you have trouble gathering 50 zombies for the MWZ Take Up Arms mission, go towards the main roads at the level 1 and 2 zones border. You’ll find dozens of undead soldiers and civilians fighting to taste your flesh here. Or you can go to an extraction point and call for exfil. You can be sure that too many zombies will pop out to prevent you from leaving them.

To find a Mystery Box in the MWZ Take Up Arms mission, look for an icon that has a question mark over a box on your map. When you spawn, there could be a Mystery Box right around your area, or you might have to reach one of the other ones marked on the map. Remember that if you can’t spot any on the map, zoom in, and the new icons will pop out. You should also note that the Mystery Boxes are a blue light to the sky. So, if you look up the air around, you might find the spot of one of these boxes.

Weapons inside the Mystery Boxes are chosen to be totally random in MWZ. And if you’re lucky enough, you might just find a Wunderwaffe DG-2 weapon in the box! Although you can not keep the DG nor the Ray Gun wonder weapons by making a successful exfil from the map in MW3 Zombies.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is currently available to play.
