The Real Housewives of Orange County relationship drama continues to heat up.
Many people are commenting on the news that former (and possibly returning) RHOC personality Alexis Bellino is dating John Janssen. Janssen, who has appeared on the show, recently came out of a three-year relationship with current RHOC star Shannon Beador. Among them is none other than the OG of the OC, Vicki Gunvalson.
Vicki Didn’t Hold Back on Her Feelings About the Budding Romance
When it comes to the alleged new relationship between Bellino and Janssen, Vicki tweeted out that she was “disgusted” by various outlets confirming the pairing.
“I AM DISGUSTED & will NOT be holding my tongue. Stay tuned for my thoughts soon #TeamShannon,” she wrote.
When Instagram fan account RealMomsOfBravo posted a meme about the new couple — using Meryl Streep’s guttural scream from Big Little Lies to mimic Shannon Beador’s imagined reaction to the news — Vicki also commented.
“Ridiculous and thirsty on both of them,” she wrote.
Many Fans Believe This Is Part of Alexis Bellino’s Continued Attempts To Rejoin RHOC
Prior to the relationship reveal, rumors were already swirling online about Alexis Bellino wanting to return to RHOC, on which she has not appeared as a main castmate since season 8 and as a guest since season 14.
If Alexis were to rejoin the cast and provided that Shannon Beador continues to hold her place on the main cast, which she’s had since season 9, the fallout of the situation could prove to be extremely tense and frankly, Bravo gold.
John Janssen Himself Thinks This Might All Be Too Much for Shannon Beador
Fan account BitchofBravo on Instagram shared a claim that Alexis Bellino has officially signed on for a return, writing in part, “Alexis delivers the final deathblow to Shannon Beador as she signs contracts for next season driving the last nail into spiraling alcoholic’s coffin.”
After the reference to Shannon Beador’s DUI arrest in September, allegedly taking place near Janssen’s home, the account polled followers, asking, “The account also asked a poll question, “Is Bravo pushing Shannon over the edge?”
Among those who responded yes was John Janssen from his verified Instagram account.
Vicki Gunvalson Isn’t the Only One Weighing In
Current RHOC star and friend to Alexis Bellino, Emily Simpson, weighed in on the news in an interview with Page Six, saying that Alexis’ return would cause Shannon Beador to “spiral.”
“I want to see that! That is good TV,” Emily said of the possibility. “I’m sorry, but bring Alexis back and let Shannon spiral out of control.
Another orange-holder, Heather Dubrow, said she’s on board with Alexis Bellino’s return.
“I think Alexis is great. I think she’s great on the show. And she and I have become really close in the last couple years and you know I keep talking about it,” Heather shared, adding,” she said. “I’m a proponent of it.”
