Some players who participated in the game’s beta got a headstart on learning the basics. If you are not one of them and did not play beta, we have prepared the best tips and tricks for you to be informed and able to fight back.

Create Perfect Build

The first and most important thing when starting out is to create the right build. In general, there are 3 types of builds in the game:

  • Light: You are fast and maneuverable but have low HP, which requires you to be a perfect strategist to survive on the battlefield. The main idea of this build is stealth or hit-and-run, so it’s up to you to decide which gameplay style you prefer.
  • Medium: These types of builds are the perfect balance between speed, power, and health. This is a perfect starter class to get a grip on how the game works without limiting your abilities in one direction.
  • Heavy: These builds are mostly for tanks, or those players who like aggressive play. You will be difficult to damage, and the weapons you get are mighty and can do a lot of damage to both structures and enemies. Of course, in this case, you have a low movement speed, so avoid direct contact with more than two players at the same time.

The ideal choice at the beginning is the Medium build, so try to play using the weapons and gadgets available there. In addition, you will also receive 10,000 credits that you can spend in the store to buy affordable items. This is a good bonus to start the game, as you can provide yourself with useful items.

Gadgets

Gadgets are your main advantage during combat. Each class has unique gadgets that will be indispensable in battle. Some of the most useful are the Thermal Vision, Zipline, Frag Grenade, C4, and Mine. In total, the game has more than 20 gadgets that you can use, so be sure to take advantage of this to spot your opponents, set a trap for them, or simply destroy buildings to move to a location faster.

Use the Environment

As mentioned above, the main feature of THE FINALS is that you can destroy almost everything here. Buildings, cover, and other structures can be blown up, shot, or destroyed, thus gaining a strategic advantage. Use this to catch your enemies off guard and destroy them all. You can even blow up an entire building and fight in it while it falls.

Communication

While enjoying destroying everything and everyone, don’t forget to communicate with your team. The tighter your teamwork, the more efficiently you can eliminate enemies and win matches. The best choice, of course, is to play with friends.

Contracts and Battlepass

And, of course, don’t forget to progress in the game by completing tasks and missions to gain more experience and currency. Thus, you can not only diversify the game with interesting tasks but also buy many different items and gadgets to be more effective in matches.

That’s it. Use these tips and tricks for beginners to dominate your opponents in THE FINALS.

The Finals is available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
