Iron is an indispensable resource that you will need for various crafts, both in the early and late game. To afford all the possible upgrades, you will need to find enough Iron Ore, which can be a problem if you have not been doing it before or do not understand where to find it in Disney Dreamlight Valley. In addition to the possible locations, we will also tell you the best routes to farm a lot of Iron Ore efficiently and quickly.

There are several locations in the game where you can find Iron Ore, but unfortunately, these are not the starting areas. If you’ve just started playing and are exploring Plaza and Peaceful Meadows, don’t rush to look for ore because you need to progress a bit first. If you are an experienced player and have discovered more new regions, you may have noticed that not all contain Iron Ore. In total, there are 5 locations where you can find this ore:

  • Forest of Valor
  • Forgotten Lands
  • Frosted Heights
  • Glade of Trust
  • Sunlit Plateau

It’s worth noting that not all regions offer you a lot of ore, as some of them will only have 1-2 veins. We will tell you the best route to follow to find a lot of Iron Ore, where you will farm several dozen in 5-10 minutes:

  • Start by digging for the ore veins near the eastern entrance of Glade of Trust and move counterclockwise.
  • Once you’re done with Glade of Trust, head to Sunlit Plateau, where you’ll need to dig for Iron Ore exclusively in the northern part of the area.
  • Next, just teleport to Frosted Heights and go to the top right of the map to find the first vein.
  • Now, move counterclockwise along the border of Frosted Heights and collect Iron Ore.
  • When you are at the edge of Forest of Valor, continue along this area, completely wrapping around the border with Frosted Heights and collecting resources.

After repeating this several times, you can accumulate the desired amount of resources because the veins are refreshed, and you can dig them endlessly. If you want to dig for ore even more efficiently, you can recruit one of the game characters to help you. By raising a character’s friendship level to 2, you can assign them Mining.

That’s it. Now you know where to find a lot of Iron Ore in Dreamlight Valley and save plenty of time.
